
Gymnastics Adds Three Walk-ons for 2022 Class

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Gymnastics Head Coach Tina Bird has announced three walk-ons to join the class of 2022 as Sarah Coghlan, Anna Ferguson and Sydney Leitch are set to become Broncos next season.
"We are so excited to announce the addition of these three wonderful student-athletes," said Bird. "They epitomize our core values in every way and will add depth to our lineups."
Sarah Coghlan
Coghlan comes to Boise by way of Roseville, Calif., where she competed in club gymnastics for Byers Roseville coached by Rhonda Hawkins, Elisha Adrian and Addie McLaughlin. A USA Gymnastics Development Program Level 10 National Qualifier, she is also a standout student, posting a cumulative GPA of 3.9 while also participating in FFA.
Anna Ferguson
A native of Nevada, Ferguson competed in club gymnastics for Salcianu Elite coached by Tammy Biggs, Sorin Salcianu and Trevor Rubino. A third-year level 10, Ferguson started gymnastics in Dubai before moving to Las Vegas in 2017. She is also a star in the classroom, holding a GPA of 4.85.
Sydney Leitch
Leitch spent her club career competing for Azarian Gymnastics in Aliso Viejo, Calif., where she was coached by Amanda Hensley and Edmund and Vanessa O'Connor. A team captain in her club career, she was also a leader in the classroom where she held a 4.0 GPA and was a member of National Honors Society.
