LAS VEGAS – Boise State's four-year as the Mountain West Championship title holder came to an end with a 53-38 loss in the semifinals round, Tuesday.
Wyoming (13-9) won its third game in three nights and advanced to the title bout against Fresno State. The Broncos (14-9) saw their tournament-record 13-game winning streak snapped.
Boise State was led by 12 points from Alexis Mark and Mallory McGwire's 11 rebounds. The Broncos also blocked eight shots, three by Abby Muse, to finish the season with a school record 149.
The Cowgirls held Boise State to a season-low 28.0 percent from the field, including 8-for-10 from 3-point range and forced 23 turnovers.
