Five Broncos Named All-American Scholars

Five Boise State men's golfers were named 2020-21 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholars for NCAA Division I.
NORMAN, Okla. – Five members of the Boise State men's golf team heard their names called as the Golf Coaches Association of America announced its 2020-21 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-American Scholars for NCAA Division I.
Skyler Eubank, Josh Gliege, Brian Humphreys, Joe Neuheisel and Hugo Townsend were the five Broncos to receive the honor. Gliege and Humphreys each made the list for an impressive third time in their respective careers, while Eubank, Neuheisel and Townsend each earned the award for a second time.
"I can't say enough about these five guys and what they have meant to our program," said head coach Dan Potter. "To have arguably the best team in our programs history include five All-American Scholars tells you just how impressive these guys are as people. This honor means a lot in our program and is well deserved by each of them."
To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically in NCAA Division I. In addition, they must participate in 40-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.0 and maintain a minimum cumulative career grade-point average of 3.2. A recipient must also be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
