Boise, Idaho – Boise State men's golf head coach Dan Potter announced the addition of Joe Panzeri to his coaching staff.
"Getting Joe to come on board with us is a big win for our program," said Potter. "Joe has been hugely successful at every level in his golf career, but more importantly he's an exceptional person who will be an asset to our players and their development both on and off the course. I've been fortunate to work with some great assistant coaches. Joe is a special guy with natural leadership qualities and I'm humbled to have him join our program."
Panzeri is a native of Boise and graduated from Mountain View High School after having spent three years at Meridian High School. He went on to play golf collegiately at Washington and San Diego before turning professional in 2010. Panzeri has played in events on the Korn Ferry Tour, PGA Tour and PGA Tour Canada.
He has two victories on the PGA Tour Canada, winning the 2011 Dakota Dunes Open and the 2013 ATB Financial Classic. Panzeri also owns 13 finishes in the top 25 and six in the top 10 on the tour.
