SAN JOSE, Calif. – Abby Muse recorded her seventh double-double of the season in Boise State's 61-59 loss at San Jose State, Saturday.
 
Muse pulled down a game-high 11 rebounds and tied Dominique Leonidas for the team high in points with 14. Mary Kay Naro added 12 points for the Broncos (7-13, 3-6 Mountain West).
 
Boise State trailed 61-58 with 18.7 seconds left and Naro at the line. The sophomore made 1 of 2 to pull the Broncos within two. San Jose State (4-16, 1-8) missed two free throws on its next possession and Muse grabbed the rebound.
 
The Broncos had a chance to tie, but Leonidas's jumper with four seconds left was blocked and time expired during a scramble for the rebound.
 
Muse scored 10 points and grabbed six rebounds in the first half and the Broncos led 30-28 at intermission. The first 20 minutes featured five ties and 10 lead changes with neither team gaining more than a five-point advantage.
 
Boise State returns home to host Fresno State, Wednesday, Feb. 2. Tipoff is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. The contest will be the first of three consecutive for the Broncos at ExtraMile Arena.
