Kekaula Kaniho will bring Blue Chaos prior to the Mountain West Football Championship

BOISE, Idaho – Former Boise State defensive back Kekaula Kaniho has been chosen to raise the Blue Chaos flag, Saturday afternoon before the Mountain West Football Championship against Fresno State.
Kaniho played 60 games as a Bronco, holding the university's record for most in a career.
He was a three-time All-Mountain West selection, including a first-team honor in 2019 as a junior. Kaniho was also a member of Mountain West champion squads in 2017 and 2019.
The Kahuku, Hawaii native was strong in the classroom as well. He was named the Mountain West Men's Scholar Athlete of the Year in 2021-22, received the Senior CLASS Award in 2020 and was a member of the NFF National Scholar-Athlete class of 2020.
Kaniho is living in Boise pursuing professional opportunities off the field.
