Smirnov Joins Bronco Gymnastics in 2023

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Gymnastics Head Coach Tina Bird announced the addition of Victoria Smirnov as part of the 2023 recruiting class, Tuesday.
Smirnov comes to Boise from Hickory, N.C., where she competed for Shooting Star Gymnastics. Prior to her senior year, she switched to Everest Gymnastics and was coached by Biyu Sun. In 2021, Smirnov scored a 37.925 at nationals.
What Coach Bird Says: "Victoria is an amazing addition to our Bronco Family. She is a dynamic gymnast with beautiful lines, and she will make an immediate impact in 2023."
Smirnov is the fourth signee in the class of 2023, joining Carly Buell, Julia Krzywanski and Mahleea Werline.
