ABOUT SAN JOSE STATE: The Spartans seek their first Mountain West win of the season after dropping their first nine games. Last time out San Jose State fell to Utah State 78-62 in Logan, Utah. The Spartans are paced offensively by sophomore guard Omari Moore who enters Saturday's contest averaging 13.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.

DEGENHART HONORED AGAIN: Boise State forward Tyson Degenhart was named the Mountain West Freshman of the Week for the league-leading fifth time this season. Degenhart averaged 11.0 points on 7-of-15 shooting (.467) - including 4-for-8 from 3-point range - and added 4.5 rebounds per game, as Boise State remained the only undefeated team in the Mountain West with wins over Wyoming (Jan. 25) and at Fresno State (Jan. 28). Against Wyoming, the freshman scored 14 against the previously-undefeated Cowboys, going 5-of-7 from the field and 2-of-4 from distance. He added eight points in the Broncos' 68-63 overtime road victory over Fresno State, chipping in five rebounds as well.
