Two Broncos Place Top 15 at Duck Invitational

EUGENE, Ore. – Skyler Eubank and Hugo Townsend each placed inside the top 15 as Boise State men's golf took sixth overall at the 2022 Duck Invitational held at the Eugene Country Club, Tuesday.
"We struggled from start to finish this week," said head coach Dan Potter. "We have talented players. I need to do a better job of getting them excited and ready to compete."
The Broncos (293-291-295—879) ended the tournament 27-over par. Washington finished atop the 14-team field that featured two teams ranked in the top-10 in No. 8 Arizona State and the eighth-ranked Huskies.
Eubank (72-72-72—216) was the top performer for Boise State, shooting 3-over to tie for 13th. Townsend (74-72-71—217), the 2021 Duck Invitational Champion, tied for 17th after scoring even-par in the final round to finish 4-over.
Max Charles (73-73-75—221) came in just outside the top 25 as he shot 8-over to tie for 29th. Alex Talbot (74-74-77—225) and Nick Hedman (77-76-77—230) placed T-54th and 70th, respectively, to round out the lineup for Boise State.
Up next the Broncos travel to University Place, Wash., for the Redhawk Invitational hosted by Seattle U at Chambers Bay, April 4-5.
