
Boise State Cross Country Announces 2022 Schedule

 BOISE, Idaho - Boise State Cross Country Head Coach Corey Ihmels announced the team's 2022 schedule, Monday.

For the second-consecutive season, the Broncos start off their six-meet schedule in Twin Fall, Idaho for the CSI Classic, hosted by College of Southern Idaho, Sept. 2.

The Blue and Orange will make its first appearance at the Joe Piane-Notre Dame Invitational in South Bend, Ind., Sept. 30.

The Broncos will finish their regular-season meet schedule in Madison, Wis., Oct. 14, at the Nuttycombe Invitational. Wisconsin will host the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational.

The Mountain West Championships will be hosted by Wyoming in Laramie, Wyo., Oct. 28. The women look to improve upon their fifth-place finish last season, while the men seek to capture a conference title this season after finishing second behind Air Force last season.

"We are all excited to get the season started. We have a great blend of returners and newcomers and our schedule reflects our expectations headed into the season," Ihmels said.

Washington will host the NCAA West Regional in Seattle, Wash., Nov. 11. The Blue and Orange look to continue its streak of regional appearances, dating back to 2011 when Boise State joined the Mountain West.

Boise State aims to conclude its cross country seasons at the NCAA National Championships hosted by Oklahoma State in Stillwater, Okla., Nov. 19. The men look to qualify as a team after having three individuals compete in 2021. On the women's side, the Broncos seek to bounce back after missing nationals last season.Â
