Boise State returns home to face San Diego State next
Boise State trailed 10-3 at the half, before marching 75-yards on the opening possession of the third quarter to tie the game.
Senior quarterback Hank Bachmeier connected with redshirt sophomore wide receiver Latrell Caples on a 28-yard dart. Two plays later, Bachmeier completed a 10-yard pass to redshirt senior wide receiver Billy Bowens, before finding redshirt senior wide receiver Stefan Cobbs for a 15-yard touchdown.
Boise State's lone points of the first half came during its opening drive. The 11-play 33-yard drive commenced with an 11-yard reception by redshirt senior tight end Tyneil Hopper, and it was capped off with a 24-yard field goal by junior kicker Jonah Dalmas.

- Redshirt senior wide receiver Stefan Cobbs hauled in a 15-yard touchdown reception during the first possession of the second half.
- Redshirt senior linebacker DJ Schramm registered a career-high 16 tackles.
- Senior safety JL Skinner notched 13 tackles.
- Redshirt senior EDGE Demitri Washington recorded 11 tackles, including two tackles-for-loss and a sack.
- Redshirt junior running back George Holani rushed for 75 yards, bringing his career total to 1,942, ranking 15th in Boise State history.
- Redshirt freshman tight end Matt Lauter's reception during Boise State's opening drive was the first of his career.
Boise State welcomes San Diego State to The Blue, Friday, Sept. 30. The Broncos and the Aztecs are slated to kick at 6 p.m. on FS1.
