
Broncos Post Second-Lowest Score in School History as Chung Finishes Third at Golf Iconic Classic

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – The Boise State women's golf team fired the second-lowest 54-hole score in program history to finish fourth at the NMSU Golf Iconic Classic. The Broncos finished -3 with a score of 861, one stroke above the current school record set at the NMSU Aggie Invitational in 2014. Leia Chung paced the Broncos with a third-place finish, carding a 210 (-6) to tie her career-low. Franca Polla had a career-low score of 213 (-3) to tie for sixth-place.

- Teal Matsueda improved her score for the third-straight event, tallying a 217 (+1) to tie for 21st.
- Also improving for the third-straight event was Hannah Lim, who carded a season-best 223 (+7). Jillian Hui replicated that score, tying her season-low from the Red Sky Classic. The pair tied for 49th, jumping 16 spots on the final day.
- The Broncos averaged 2.97 strokes on par 3s, the best in the tournament. They totaled 47 birdies, the third-most at the event.
