BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Athletics and Tamarack Resort, the official sponsor of the Bronco Sports App, will provide up to 35,000 single-day lift tickets to fans attending the Boise State versus Wyoming football game on Saturday, Oct. 28.
The giveaway will be announced during the game, where attendees will be directed to scan a QR code or visit a website address displayed on the stadium's video board, taking them to an online form to complete.
Bronco Sports App users will also receive a notification on their smartphone at this time, directing them to fill out the form. Upon completion of the form, fans will receive an email containing a unique promo code and instructions on how to redeem their single-day lift ticket on the Tamarack website. There, they will enter their promo code and personal information to receive a confirmation email containing a QR code, which can be redeemed at one of six ticket kiosks located at the resort.
In order to redeem the single-day ski lift, fans are encouraged to download the Broncos Sports App in advance of the game. The Bronco Sports App is free and available for iPhone users on the App Store and for Android users on Google Play.
Limited tickets are still available online at BroncoSports.com, over the phone with a representative of the Boise State Athletic Ticket Office at (208) 426-4737, or in person at the Boise State Athletic Ticket Office located at the southwest corner of Albertsons Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. MT and will air nationally on FS2.
The promotion was brokered in partnership with athletic media rights holder Bronco Sports Properties, the locally based team of LEARFIELD – the media and technology company powering college athletics.
The original Bronco Sports App was released in August 2021 with the goal to keep Bronco Nation up to date with the latest news, schedules, and rosters of all 18 sport programs. Since the launch of the improved Bronco Sports App last fall, total app users have increased by 129 percent, which includes a 57 percent increase in student app users. The app has undergone nine version updates since the initial release, staying current with the latest technology and accessibility.
Tamarack's winter season is scheduled to open in early December, with lift operations running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week. Skiers and riders can anticipate more than 60 acres of new open terrain, a new learning area, enhanced snowmaking and grooming technology, a new Nordic Center and multi-day, consecutive-day tickets for more flexibility this season.
