Kenzie MacMillan Adds Ford Student-Athlete of the Week Honors

BOISE, Idaho - Kenzie MacMillan, a junior on the Boise State soccer team, has been named the Ford Boise State Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 27-Oct. 3.
The forward led the Broncos in their 3-1 win over the reigning Mountain West champions, Wyoming, Sept. 28. MacMillan scored her first of two goals in the 13th minute with an assist from Carly Cross. She knocked in her second goal of the match, fifth of the season, in the 62nd minute to seal the Blue and Orange's victory over the Cowgirls.
In Boise State's 4-1 win over Colorado State, MacMillan recorded an assist when Sophie Drown scored on a header to square the match 1-1.
MacMillan leads the active roster in total career points and total career goals with 33 and 12, respectively. The Mission Viejo, Calif., native also leads the league with six assists – currently seventh-most in a single season in program history – and 49 shots.
The Blue and Orange remain one of only two teams undefeated in conference play and are tied for first with San Diego State at 3-0-1.
The Broncos (5-1-6, 3-0-1 MW) will travel to San Diego and Albuquerque, N.M., to face San Diego State on Thursday at 8 p.m. MT, and New Mexico on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. MT, respectively.
