BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Gymnastics Head Coach Tina Bird announced the signing of three future Broncos as part of the 2024 recruiting class on Wednesday.

Noelle Ball

Ball joins the Broncos from Bothell, Wash., after competing for Advantage Gymnastics Academy, where she was coached by Stephanie Renggli and Cassy Taton. Ball was named the 2022 regional and state vault champion and the 2023 regional bars and vault runner-up. She is also a two-time national qualifier.

What Coach Bird Says: "Noelle is going to be an amazing addition to our 2024 recruiting class. She is strong on all events and swings bars with such amplitude. I know she will make an immediate impact."

Bridget Kemp

Kemp comes to Boise from Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif., where she competed for Flight School Gymnastics. A two-time national qualifier, Kemp registered an 11th-place bar finish and 13th-place beam finish in 2022. She also earned fifth-place and seventh-place all-around finishes at regionals in 2022 and 2023, respectively.

What Coach Bird Says: "Bridget is a compact ball of fire! She's incredibly dynamic, with big tricks that are going to add a lot of excitement to our lineups."

Kristina Shchennikova

Shchennikova is a native of Morrison, Colo., where she competed for 5280 Gymnastics, coached by Alex and Katie Shchennikova. A two-time national qualifier, Shchennikova was the 2023 state all-around champion.

What Coach Bird Says: "Kristina is such an elegant gymnast with gorgeous lines. We are beyond happy that she is joining our program and are expecting her to make an appearance in each of our four lineups."
