
Broncos Post Season-High Score in Minnesota

MINNEAPOLIS – Boise State gymnastics achieved a season-high score of 196.825 despite being defeated by No. 22 Minnesota (197.600), Saturday afternoon at Maturi Pavilion.
The Broncos' beam team, led by sophomore Alyssa Vulaj and senior Adriana Popp, tallied an event total of 49.425, tying the fifth-highest score in program history. It marked the Blue and Orange's best score on the apparatus since March 1, 2019 (No. 17 Washington and Utah State).
Valuj and Popp bookended Boise State's beam lineup, securing career-high scores of 9.950 and sharing the event title. Included on Popp's score sheet was a perfect 10.000.
Sophomore Emily Lopez also had a share in an event victory, scoring a 9.900 on bars and tying with the Gophers' Gianna Gerdes and Mya Hooten for the top spot.
