FORT WORTH, Texas – Junior Courtney Blackson scored a 9.925 on vault and sits atop the leaderboard after the first semifinal at the NCAA Women's Gymnastics Championships, Thursday afternoon at Dickies Arena.

Blackson's performance marked the highest vault score by a Bronco at nationals in program history. She is currently tied with Denver's Lynnzee Brown for the top spot.

Junior Emily Lopez also turned in a record-breaking performance, earning the highest bars score by a Bronco at nationals all-time with her 9.900.

With their top-eight performances in the first session, both Blackson and Lopez garnered All-America status. Blackson was named to the All-America First Team while Lopez collected second-team honors. It is the first time since 2016 the Broncos have had multiple All-Americans.
