Charles, Knight Finish in Top 25 at Mountain West Championships

Broncos finish eighth on team leaderboard

TUCSON, Ariz. – Max Charles and Gavyn Knight finished in the top 25 to lead Boise State to an eighth-place showing at the 2023 Mountain West Men's Golf Championship.

Charles and Knight finished the tournament at tied for 18th at three-under. The Broncos shot even on the tournament, firing consistent rounds of 288-290-286 (864).

Knight shot the two lowest rounds of his career in the first and third rounds. The freshman carded rounds of 68-75-70, and climbed eight spots up the leaderboard on Sunday by shooting two-under. Charles carded rounds of 69-72-72, shooting at par-or-better in all three rounds.
