Boise State Releases 2023 Volleyball Schedule, Season Tickets on Sale

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Athletics released the 2023 volleyball schedule and opened season ticket sales Wednesday afternoon.

Boise State's schedule includes 29 matches overall, 13 of which will be at home in Bronco Gym and 16 on the road. Contests against three power-five schools – two Pac-12 and one versus the Big 12 – and the Boise State Classic highlight the nonconference portion.

The campaign starts with the Broncos hosting instate-rival Idaho State on Friday, Aug. 25, then traveling to Pocatello for a rematch versus the Bengals two days later on Sunday, Aug. 27.

Week two will be a solid test for the Blue and Orange as it travels to Corvallis, Ore., to face the Big 12's Oklahoma Sooners and Pac-12's Oregon State Beavers on Sept. 2-3.

Boise State will follow up with a week three trip to Flagstaff, Ariz., where the Broncos will participate in the Northern Arizona Tournament featuring three contests versus 2022 NCAA Tournament participant Stephen F. Austin, the Pac-12's Arizona State and their host and Big Sky member NAU, respectively, Sept. 8-9.

The nonconference slate wraps up at home with the Boise State Classic featuring South Dakota State, LMU and Montana. There will be two matches per day starting Thursday, Sept. 14, and ending on Saturday, Sept. 16.

The two MW schools the Broncos will face only once this year in the 18-match conference format are UNLV and San Diego State.

Mountain West action begins the weekend of Sept. 21-23 when the Broncos host Colorado State and Wyoming.

The other seven home league matches include Fresno State and Nevada on Oct. 5-7, Utah State on Oct. 10, UNLV on Oct. 21, New Mexico and Air Force the week of Nov. 2-4, and closes with San Jose State on Nov. 11.

The Broncos' nine road MW encounters are at Air Force and New Mexico on Sept. 28-30, San Jose State on Oct. 12, San Diego State on Oct. 19, Wyoming and Colorado State the week of Oct. 26-28, Utah State on Nov. 6, with the regular season closing with a trip to Nevada and Fresno State on Nov. 16-18.

The Mountain West Championship will take place Nov. 22-24 at UNLV's Cox Pavilion and will feature the top-six teams in the regular season standings. The winner will receive the league's automatic berth into the NCAA Championship.
