ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Boise State women's golf concluded competition at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational on Tuesday at the UNM Championship Course. The Broncos finished 15^th with a team score of 897. In the first and third rounds, Boise State shot 296. Freshman Teal Matsueda led the way, shooting 220 in her first collegiate event, including a 72 in her first round. Senior Elli Gordon matched that score in the final round, giving her a score of 224 that was second on the squad.

"For two of the three rounds, we were right in the mix. We need to learn how to put that together for an entire event," said head coach Kailin Downs.
"It was a fantastic debut tournament for Teal and I'm excited to see what else she can accomplish," continued Downs. "There were a lot of positives to take from this week, especially as a team with a lot of opportunities ahead of us this season!"

Teal Matsueda shot a team-best 220, including a 72 in her first career round. She led the Broncos with 10 birdies on the week.
Elli Gordon's final round score of 72 matched her season-low from last season.
Jillian Hui and Hannah Lim each made their collegiate debut, both shooting 227 and tying for 59^th.
