Stanley's 30-11 Game Powers Broncos to Win

SAN JOSE, Calif. – O'Mar Stanley was 7-of-8 from the line in clutch situations as Boise State rallied from a six-point deficit with 6:34 remaining to open Mountain West play with a 78-69 victory, Friday at San Jose State.
Stanley became the third Bronco in the Leon Rice era to have a 30-10 game, joining Chandler Hutchison and Abu Kigab.
The Broncos (10-4, 1-0 MW) trailed by seven at halftime with Spartans guard MJ Amey scoring 24 points in the first half.Â
Boise State held Amey to five points in the second half and didn't allow a San Jose State (7-8, 0-2 MW) bucket over the first 4:24 of the second period.Â
Tyson Degenhart scored 17 points in the second as the Broncos took their first lead since 15:42 in the first half thanks to a Stanley free throw with 4:22 remaining in the game.
