Bronco Seniors Collect MW Weekly Awards

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Seniors Courtney Blackson and Emily Lopez each captured their first Mountain West Specialist of the Week accolade of the 2024 season following their performances in the Broncos' season-opening meet, the conference announced Tuesday.
Blackson was named the Floor Specialist of the Week, scoring a 9.875, while Lopez was named Co-Bars Specialist of the Week after earning a 9.875 as well. The pair secured the Broncos' highest scores in their dual against Utah.
Blackson has earned a weekly conference accolade nine times in her career, while Lopez has collected 16 awards.
Boise State will travel to West Valley City, Utah for the Sprouts Farmers Market Collegiate Quad on Friday, Jan. 12. The meet begins at 7 p.m. at the Maverik Center, where the Blue and Orange will face Arizona, No. 16 Nebraska and No. 33 North Carolina.
