Boise State Women’s Basketball Announces MW Schedule

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's basketball announce its conference schedule, Thursday.
The Broncos will play an 18-game conference schedule, competing in home-and-home games against all Mountain West opponents except for San Diego State and San Jose State. Boise State will not travel to play the Spartans and will not host the Aztecs.
The Blue and Orange will open conference play on the road at San Diego State on Dec. 29. The team's first MW home game will be Jan. 1 against Air Force.
Boise State will host the following teams in ExtraMile Arena: Air Force (Jan. 1), UNLV (Jan. 4), San Jose State (Jan. 15), Nevada (Jan. 18), New Mexico (Jan. 28), Colorado State (Feb. 8), Fresno State (Feb. 15), Wyoming (Feb. 18), and Utah State (March 4).
MW road contests are set for: San Diego State (Dec. 29), Utah State (Jan. 8), Fresno State (Jan. 11), Colorado State (Jan. 21), Wyoming (Feb. 1), Nevada (Feb. 5), New Mexico (Feb. 13), UNLV (Feb. 26) and Air Force (March 1). The MW Women's Basketball Championship will be held March 9-12 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.
Head coach Gordy Presnell, who boasts the sixth-most wins among active Division I women's basketball head coaches (751), returns for his 20th season at the helm of the program. The Broncos return all five starters from a team that finished 21-14 a season ago and made an appearance in the Women's National Invitational Tournament.
