
Cross Country Earns USTFCCCA All-Academic Honors

NEW ORLEANS – Three Boise State cross country athletes, as well as the men's and women's teams, earned 2023 U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Division 1 All-Academic honors, Feb. 1.

Joe Hudson, Tom Patrick and Julia Kiesler garnered individual USTFCCCA All-Academic Athlete honors.

In order to qualify for All-Academic Athlete distinction, student-athletes must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and finish in the top-25 (or 10 percent) at the NCAA Regional Championships or as an All-American at the NCAA Championships.

To earn team honors, the women's squad registered a 3.62 GPA while the men posted 3.21 GPA.

In order to qualify for All-Academic team distinction, teams must have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, including the most recent grading period.
