COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Four Boise State men's basketball players have been honored by the Mountain West's coaches with all-conference honors, the league announced on Tuesday ahead of the start of the 2024 Mountain West Men's Basketball Championship.

Tyson Degenhart was named to the all-conference's first team for the second-straight year, and O'Mar Stanley took home second-team honors in his first year in the league. Chibuzo Agbo and Max Rice earned honorable mention honors.

This is the first all-conference honor of Agbo and Stanley's careers. Rice was named to the league's second team in 2022-23.

Degenhart joins Chandler Hutchison as the only other Bronco to be named to the Mountain West's first team by the coaches in back-to-back years. He joins Roberto Bergersen (1998-99 Big West),  John Coker (1994-95 Big Sky), Tanoka Beard (1991-93 Big Sky) and Chris Childs (1987-89 Big Sky) as the only other players in program history to earn multiple first-team honors.

Boise State heads to the conference tournament with a 22-9 (13-5 MW) record and as the league's No. 3 seed. It will play the winner of No. 6 New Mexico and No. 11 Air Force in the quarterfinal, on Thursday, March 14, at 9:30 p.m. MT.

Only Great Osobor  and Jaedon LeDee averaged better numbers in both categories in Mountain West games Stanley also blocked 20 shots in conference play, and he and Osobor were the only players in the league with over 400 points, 190 rebounds and 35 blocks.

Chibuzo Agbo
Agbo continued to progress as one of the nation's best 3-point shooters as a senior, while adding the ability to score within the arc. He averaged 12.4 points per game and 5.2 rebounds per game in Mountain West play, while shooting 42.5% from the field and 38.4% from beyond the arc. He and Isaiah Stevens were the only Mountain West players to score at least 423 points and shoot 49% on 2-point field goals and 41% on 3-point field goals.

Max Rice
Rice again turned in a strong season to average 13 points per game and was fourth with a 36.6% clip from 3-point range during conference play.
