
Bronco Trio Receives MW Weekly Honors

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Seniors Courtney Blackson and Emily Lopez and sophomore Anna Ferguson each collected a Mountain West Specialist of the Week award following their performances in the Broncos' quad meet in San Jose, Calif., on March 10.
Blackson was named Bars Specialist of the Week for the first time this season after scoring a career-high 9.950 on the apparatus. She earned her second win of the season on bars and fourth in her career. This is the Elk Grove, Calif., native's 15th career weekly conference honor.
Ferguson was tabbed Co-Beam Specialist of the Week for the first time this season, collecting her first career weekly conference accolade, after scoring a 9.950 on her beam debut. The Henderson, Nev., native finished first, alongside Lopez, on beam, marking her first career event win.
Lopez also collected Co-Beam Specialist of the Week, matching her career-best score of 9.950. This was her seventh win in the 2024 campaign and her team-best 14th career win. The Mission Viejo, Calif., native now has 24 career weekly conference honors, also a team-high.
Boise State will host MW rival Utah State and nonconference foe Oregon State in its final home meet on Sunday, March 17, at noon in ExtraMile Arena.
