BOISE, Idaho – Senior Emily Lopez was tabbed the Mountain West Co-Vault Specialist of the Week for the second time this season following her performance in the Broncos' final home meet of the 2024 season on March 17.
Lopez earned the accolade after matching her career-high score of 9.925 on the apparatus, tying for first. This marked her 10th event win of the season and 26th in her career. The Mission Viejo, Calif., native has now tallied 25 weekly awards in her career and 10 on the season.
The Broncos will travel to Logan, Utah for the MW Championship on Saturday, March 23, at 7 p.m.
