Three Broncos Named on All-Mountain West Teams

LAS VEGAS – Nicole Discenza, Pauline Ernstberger and Lorelyz Marruffo all earned 2024 All-Mountain West honors, the conference announced, Tuesday.
Ernstberger was named an All-MW Singles player for the fourth-consecutive season, becoming the first Bronco in program history to earn all-conference honors in four-consecutive seasons. Serving as the Broncos' No. 1 option throughout the season, the senior posted a 6-8 record at the top position for Boise State, including a 2-4 mark in MW play.
Discenza and Marruffo earned All-MW doubles honors for the second time after combining to go 7-5 while playing in the No. 1 spot for the Broncos. Boise State leaned heavily on its doubles play throughout the season as seven of the Broncos' eight wins came when the team won the doubles point.
The Broncos will begin the MW Championship tournament Wednesday, April 26 at 11 a.m. MT. Boise State will face San Jose State in the opening round of the tournament. Match coverage will be available via the Mountain West Championship Central page.
