BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's basketball head coach Gordy Presnell officially announced the signing of Milly Sharp to the 2024-25 Bronco roster on Tuesday.

Sharp, a native of Ballarat, Australia, will join the squad after playing for the Ballarat Miners in Australia's NB1.

"Our fans are really going to enjoy watching Milly play," Presnell said. "She goes 110 miles an hour and is a very exciting player. She's a really great addition to our program."

The 5-9 guard has played all her basketball with the Miners, starting on their juniors team at age 15. Currently on the program's top team, she has played 12 games on the year and is averaging 2.7 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game.

Sharp has represented the state of Victoria in six Australian National Championships, winning all but one. She led her team to a gold medal in 2024 after earning a silver medal in 2023, and was the captain of the U16 and U20 championship teams.

She will be the third Australian on the Boise State roster, joining Dani Bayes and Libby Hutton, the latter of which signed with the Broncos on May 17. Sharp is the fourth addition to the 2024-25 squad, alongside Madeline Cooke, Teryn Gardner and Hutton.

"I'm absolutely pumped to become a Bronco," Sharp said. "I'm truly grateful to Coach Presnell and all of the staff for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to join the program. It has been my dream to play college basketball for many years now and I am incredibly excited for what's to come."
