
Discenza Named to Mountain West All-Tournament Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Nicole Discenza has been named to the Mountain West All-Tournament Team, the conference announced, Friday.

The senior earned the honor for the No. 5 singles spot after her performance at the MW Women's Tennis Championship Tournament in Las Vegas, Nev., April 24-27.

The Broncos faced San Jose State where Discenza earned a straight-set victory over Jovana Babic in the opening round, winning 7-5, 6-2 on court five. She also defeated Duru Durgun and Rozalina Youseva with partner Ana Conde Vendrell, clinching the doubles point for Boise State.

Discenza ended her Boise State women's tennis career with a 61-30 overall record, including a 16-11 mark from the No. 5 position. She is tied for eighth in program history for most wins in that position.
