BOISE, Idaho – Former Bronco gymnast Hope Masiado will return to the program as the director of operations, head coach Tina Bird announced Tuesday.

In her role with Boise State, Masiado will serve as a liaison between coaching and support staff members, coordinate travel plans and schedules, manage inventory, facilitate public inquiries and ensure compliance with Boise State and NCAA guidelines.

"I am so happy to welcome Hope back to our program as our new chaos coordinator," said Bird. "We're looking forward to working together to give our student-athletes the best experience possible."

Masiado returns to gymnastics after spending two years as a graduate assistant in Boise State's athletic personnel services department. On May 4, she obtained her master's in athletic leadership.

The Bethlehem, Pa., native competed for the Broncos from 2019-22. She helped the Blue and Orange qualify for the NCAA Regional Championship three times and was a member of the 2019 squad that won the Mountain Rim Gymnastics Conference title. On March 9, 2020, she earned MRGC Gymnast of the Week after recording a career-high 39.250 all-around score. Masiado, who received a bachelor's of business administration in human resource management, was a three-time Academic All-MRGC selection.
