BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Head Volleyball Coach Shawn Garus announced Tuesday that Annie Kaminski will return for one final season this fall. The native of Bellevue, Idaho, will be entering her sixth year of eligibility with the Broncos. She graduated in May with a bachelor's degree in sociology and will be working towards a master's in athletic leadership.

"I'm really excited to have Annie back for her graduate year," said Garus. "She is one of the high-energy kids on our team. I think she does a great job of setting an example with her work ethic and bringing energy every day. She is not just an all-conference middle blocker but also provides the energy and the presence that we need in the gym."

"I'm super excited to be back for my last season," said Kaminski. "I love Boise State. I love these girls; I wasn't ready to be done yet. This team has a lot of potential, and we could go really far this year. I'm looking forward to getting another Mountain West Championship ring."

Over the past two seasons, Annie Kaminski has been a key player for the Blue and Orange, starting as a middle blocker. Her stats speak for themselves. She has played in 76 matches with 65 starts during her career, accumulating 508 kills (1.97 kps), 248 blocks (1.0 bps), and 647 points (2.51 pps). These numbers reflect her significant contribution to the team's success.

She is coming off a campaign last fall that saw her earn All-Mountain West honors. Prior to that, she was an All-MW Honorable Mention in 2022 and the MW Newcomer of the Year in 2021.

Kaminski finished 2023 with a team-high 108 blocks – ninth in the MW – and ranked second on the team for kills with 230 and points with 293.5. She also led the team and ranked seventh in the league for hitting percentage at .333.
