GEORGE TOWN, GRAND CAYMAN, CAYMAN ISLANDS – Boise State will return to the Cayman Islands Classic, event host Caymax Sports Ltd. announced, Tuesday.

The 2024 Cayman Islands Classic will be held, Nov. 24-26, at the John Gray Coliseum at Georgetown, Grand Cayman.

Boise State participated in the 2018 edition of the tournament and went 2-1, with the lone loss coming to eventual champions Creighton.

Joining the Broncos in this year's field are: Boston College, Duquesne, Hampton, High Point, Missouri State, Old Dominion and South Dakota State. South Dakota State and Duquesne are coming off NCAA Tournament appearances, and Boston College and High Point made the NIT and CBI, respectively.

The bracket for the tournament as well as ticket options will be announced at a later date.

This is Boise State's 10th appearance at an early-season tournament since 2013: 2023 ESPN Events Invitational, 2022 Myrtle Beach Classic, 2021 Charleston Classic, 2019 Diamond Head Classic, 2018 Cayman Islands Classic, 2017 Puerto Rico Tip-Off at Myrtle Beach, 2016 Charleston Classic, 2015 Wooden Legacy and 2013 Diamond Head Classic.

The Broncos have won at least one game at each of its appearances at an ESPN-owned multi-team event, including winning two games in four of the last five.

Boise State is the only team in the Mountain West to return two all-conference performers this season in Tyson Degenhart and O'Mar Stanley. Leon Rice and his staff also added senior Alvaro Cardenas through the transfer portal to give the Broncos three of the top five returning players in the conference, per Bart Torvik.

Rice returns for his 15th season in the Treasure Valley as he hopes to lead Boise State back to the NCAA Tournament for an unprecedented fourth-straight season.
