BOISE, Idaho – Former Bronco gymnast Adriana Popp will return to the program as an assistant coach, head coach Tina Bird announced Monday.

In her position at Boise State, Popp will concentrate on recruiting new athletes while also utilizing this opportunity to coach across all events, allowing her to identify her strengths.

"I am thrilled with the addition of Popp to our coaching staff," Bird said. "She knows us and how we operate and will only help our program grow. Once a Bronco, always a Bronco!"

Popp will transition her role in gymnastics while also earning her master's in athletic leadership.

The Easton, Pa., native competed for the Broncos from 2020-24. She helped the Blue and Orange qualify for the NCAA Regionals four times and was a member of the 2024 squad that won the inaugural Mountain West Championship. At that meet, the former gymnast helped lead the team to a score of 49.500 on beam, the highest in conference championships program history. Popp also earned MW Co-Beam Specialist of the Year honors this past season, matching a career-best of 9.950 on the apparatus.
