Onsite kiosks to convert cash to no-cost prepaid cards are available for all event attendees
BOISE, Idaho – Concession stands in Albertsons Stadium and ExtraMile Arena will shift to accepting credit or debit cards only, starting this fall. The change is intended to speed up transaction times and shorten wait times at concession stands and will be in place for all Boise State football and basketball home games.
More than 75% of fans and event patrons already utilize debit or credit cards, based on data from the 2023 season.
For attendees who prefer to use cash at a game or event, Boise State has installed two kiosks inside Albertsons Stadium and four inside ExtraMile Arena where fans can exchange cash for a prepaid debit card in $1-$500 increments. There are no activation fees. The card can be used at any business that accepts credit cards.
The cash-to-card kiosks are available in the following locations. All sites will have team members to assist fans in exchanging their cash for the cards.
