
Women Second, Men Third at Season Opener

BOZEMAN, Mont. – The Boise State women's cross country team opened the season with a strong second-place finish, just three points shy of Montana State, while the men's team earned third at the MSU Bobcat Twilight.
Emily Jobes (17:26.8) and Kaiya Robertson (17:31.7) pushed the pace in the women's 5k, finishing second and third, respectively. The women concluded the race with five in the top-10, helping them take second-place with 29 points.
Brian Kiprotich led the way in his Bronco cross country debut with a 12th-place finish, posting a 15:17.7. He was followed closely by newcomer Alex Kilby, who ran a 15:18.3. The men placed three in the top-20, securing 80 points and third-place.
