- This marks the first season under head coach Pat McCurry. McCurry was previously an assistant with the Broncos from 2016-18, and also served as the head coach at College of Idaho and San Francisco.
- Boise State will be making its first appearance at this event.
- The race will be held at Colfax Golf Club — the same course the NCAA West Regional will be run on in November.
- The women's 6k race is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. MT. The men's 8k race is scheduled for 6:45 p.m.
- In the first race of the season, the women finished second and the men finished third.
- Senior Emily Jobes led the Broncos with a second place finish at the MSU Bobcat Twilight.
- Brian Kiprotich made his cross country debut at the MSU Bobcat twilight, taking 12th place individually and first among the Bronco men.
- 2023 Mountain West Cross Country Freshman of the Year Julia Kiesler returns for her sophomore season after finishing as the top freshman at the 2023 MW Cross Country Championships.
- Joe Hudson will race in the Blue & Orange again after qualifying for the national championships in 2023.
