Roghaar Receives Contract Extension

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State Women's Tennis Head Coach Beck Roghaar inked a two-year contract extension, director of athletics Jeramiah Dickey announced, Monday.

The extension adds to the one year that remained on Roghaar's contract, keeping him with Boise State through the 2027 season.

"I love being a Boise State Bronco," said Roghaar. "This place is special. It's meant so much to me as a student-athlete and as a coach. The opportunity to work alongside so many passionate and talented people in this environment every day is truly a blessing."

A two-time conference coach of the year, Roghaar is entering his 14th season at the helm of the Boise State women's tennis team. He has coached the team to nine winning seasons, and his 156 wins are the second-most in program history. Roghaar has also helped athletes earn 49 all-conference and 76 academic all-conference honors, and has coached 67 ITA all-academic athletes and 68 conference scholars.

"I'm grateful to continue to serve and lead this program and our student-athletes into the future," Roghaar said. "A special thank you to Jeramiah Dickey and our sport program administrator, Jake Mankin, for their shared vision and pouring time, energy, care and resources to continue to build and elevate Boise State Tennis. The best is yet to come and we can't wait to keep building forward."

Roghaar's incoming freshman class ranks fifth among mid-major programs, which is the highest recruiting ranking in program history. Additionally, Roghaar brought in Oklahoma transfer Zdena Safarova, who finished her freshman season with an ITA doubles ranking of No. 36.

The Broncos are set to begin their fall season this Friday, Sept. 20, at Appleton Tennis Center in the first edition of the Boise State Classic.
