BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's basketball head coach Gordy Presnell announced the nonconference slate for the 2024-25 season on Wednesday.
Â
The Broncos open the regular season with five home games inside ExtraMile Arena. Boise State will host a total of eight home contests, with the remaining six contests at a neutral site.
The Blue and Orange will have no true nonconference road contests for the third time in program history. Boise State had no nonconference road matchups in the 1970-71 and 2020-21 seasons. Â
Following an exhibition contest on Nov. 2 against Bushnell, the Broncos will open the regular season on Nov. 4 against Eastern Oregon. Boise State will host Colorado on Nov. 10 before rounding out the homestand against UC Riverside on Nov. 14 and College of Idaho on Nov. 18.
Boise State will then travel to the Bay Area for a matchup against San Francisco in the Chase Center as part of the USF Legacy Tournament on Nov. 21.Â
Â
The Broncos will return to the Treasure Valley for a Nov. 24 contest against Weber State. As previously announced, the squad will spend Nov. 29-Dec. 1 in Fort Myers, Florida for the Gulf Coast Showcase. The Broncos will open the three-day event against Illinois State and will face either High Point or West Virginia on the second day. Butler, New Mexico State, Santa Clara and Texas complete the eight-team field.Â
Home for two games, Boise State will host Utah Tech (Dec. 6) and San Diego (Dec. 8). The Broncos will close the nonconference schedule at the Husky Classic in Seattle, facing Furman on Dec. 18 and North Dakota State on Dec. 19.
Presnell returns all five starters from a squad that finished 21-14 and made an appearance in the Women's National Invitational Tournament a season ago.
