PROVO, Utah – Boise State's Tereza Polakova led the way for the Broncos at the ITA Mountain Region Championships, advancing to the quarterfinal round in singles as play concluded Friday.

As a team, Boise State tallied 11 singles victories over four days of competition in Provo.

Polakova and Paula Schaefer each advanced to the round of 16, where they faced players from BYU and Utah, respectively. Schaefer battled through three sets before falling to No. 3 seed Emmie Moore. Polakova, facing the tournament's No. 5 seed, rallied for a 4-6, 7-6(6), 6-3 victory to secure her spot in the quarterfinals.

There, she met top-seeded Emma Kamper of Utah, ultimately falling 6-2, 6-2.
