
Gymnastics Welcomes Five on National Signing Day

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State gymnastics inked five student-athletes to the 2026 signing class, head coach Tina Bird announced, Wednesday. The Broncos welcome Giovannina Beltra, Morgan Clements, Kira Keller, Lorelei Necessary and Kate Waldock. Bringing a wealth of regional and national accolades, the class will join the program for the 2027 season. Full information on the 2026 signing class is below.
Giovannina Beltra
Giovannina Beltra joins the Broncos after competing for All-American Gymnastics. Hailing from Monroe Township, New Jersey, she is a three-time Level 10 regional and national qualifier. In 2024, she won state titles on vault and floor while finishing third on bars and all-around. Beltra repeated as vault champion in 2025, scoring 9.900 to earn a spot as one of the nation's top 100 Level 10 vaulters. That year, she also placed third on bars and fourth all-around.
"We are so happy to add Giovannina to our team! She has beautiful gymnastics with a huge vault that will excite our crowd," said Bird. "Keep your eyes peeled for her dynamic gymnastics on all four events."
Morgan Clements
Morgan Clements is a native of Victor, New York, where she competes for Rochester Gymnastics Academy. She has qualified for Level 10 regionals and nationals in back-to-back seasons, finishing third on floor at regionals both times. She added a third-place bars finish in 2024 before earning third on beam in 2025. She captured the 2024 Level 10 state all-around title, earning event crowns on bars, beam and floor. Clements is a three-time member of the honor roll.
"Morgan is our secret weapon. She has improved tons this past year and her graceful dance complements her dynamic skills perfectly," Bird said. "She will help propel us to success in the Pac-12."
Kira Keller
Kira Keller joins Boise State after competing for Olympus Gymnastics. A native of West Jordan, Utah, she was a Level 10 regional and national qualifier in 2025. At the regional meet, she was the vault runner-up and added top-five finishes on floor and all-around. She placed ninth on floor at the national meet. A 2024 regional qualifier, Keller also competed in the 2023 Nastia Liukin Cup, tying for third on vault and sixth on floor. She has completed three certifications in Architectural Engineering and one in Interior Design.
"Kira is so quick and powerful with untapped potential," Bird said. "She will add immediate depth to our team in all areas."
Lorelei Necessary
Lorelei Necessary comes to the Treasure Valley from Rancho Mission Viejo, California. She competed for SCEGA Gymnastics, qualifying for Level 10 regionals and nationals twice. In 2024, she won the state and regional crowns on floor while adding top-five regional finishes on beam and all-around. The following season, she won the beam title at the state and regional levels, finishing ninth on floor at the national meet. Both years, her top beam score landed her in the Level 10 America's Top 100. SCEGA's 2025 Elite Scholar-Athlete, Necessary is a four-time honor roll selection and member of the National Honors Society.
"Lorelei's beam and floor routines are unmatched in beauty and excitement," said Bird. "Her calm presence will make a difference to our team performance and we are looking forward to her arrival in Boise."
Kate Waldock
Joining from Park City, Utah, Kate Waldock was a teammate of Keller's at Olympus Gymnastics. She is a 2025 Level 10 regional and national qualifier, finishing eighth on vault at nationals and earning top-five regional finishes on vault, bars, floor and all-around. In 2024, she was a Western Qualifier, earning runner-up on vault. That season, she also earned state and regional crowns on vault, floor and all-around. She is a two-time member of the honor roll and was voted Olympus' Most Improved Gymnast in 2024 and 2025.
