With 3:22 left to play in the 20-minute session, Nevada pushed its advantage to double figures. The Wolf Pack had eight different players crack the scoring column and led by as many as 14 in the period.

Trailing 34-20, Boise State closed the gap at the end of the frame. The Broncos scored six of the final eight points to slice their deficit to 10.

In the half, Meadow scored a team-high 10 points on 4-of-5 shooting, but as a team, Boise State shot 38 percent from the floor. Conversely, Nevada made 54 percent of its shot attempts and led 36-26 at the intermission.

The Broncos scored the first four points of the second half to make it a six-point game but the Wolf Pack promptly answered with eight quick points of their own to go up 14 once more. From that point forward, Nevada was in complete control.

At the 12:13 mark, Boise State's deficit swelled to 24. The Broncos were able to get to within 12 but never inched closer.
