Seeking 1,023 champions to start contributing annually to hit goal of 10,000 members

BOISE, Idaho – Bronco Athletic Association (BAA) ended the 2024 membership year with 8,977 active members, Boise State Athletics announced today. With this milestone, the department is aiming to  meet the Horsepower Membership Drive goal of 10,000 BAA members by Sept. 1, 2025.

"Thank you, Bronco Nation, for embracing the call to become annual members of the BAA," said Dickey. "Membership is open to everyone and begins with annual contributions as low as $25. It will take an investment from all of us for the Broncos to remain competitive as we prepare to share revenue with our student-athletes in 2025, pending the House Settlement. Everything counts and everything matters."

Launched in November 2021, the Horsepower Membership Drive set a goal to increase BAA membership from 4,085 to 10,000 members by September 2025. In over three years, the BAA membership has increased nearly 120 percent.

One of the drivers of membership growth is the Blue Collar Club. The Blue Collar Club is a collection of Bronco fans driving grassroots fundraising efforts for Boise State University and the BAA for as little as $10 per month. Every dollar goes directly to the Bronco Nation Fund and qualifies the donor for membership in the BAA. Launched in 2022, the Blue Collar Club has raised nearly $150,000. Current BAA members can participate in the drive by buying or renewing season tickets and/or increasing their existing giving.

Season ticket renewals for the 2025 football season are now available. Every season ticket purchase includes a built-in scholarship seating requirement, qualifying season ticket holders as a base-level BAA member without additional fees or donations. Expanded membership benefits are unlocked solely through philanthropic giving.

New season ticket deposits are also available.  A $25 deposit is the first step to securing a spot at all six home games for the 2025 season.

Last month, the department launched the Built Different led by Boise State head football coach Spencer Danielson and the BAA.  Built Different is a fundraising initiative to reach out to local businesses and community partners, in addition to current season ticket holders and BAA members interested in driving competitive excellence at a national level in a sustainable way at Boise State. Those who are interested can participate in the crowdfunding and receive BAA priority points and special benefits such as access to team events and practices. To pledge support and make a tax-deductible contribution visit Built Different

In addition, the seventh-annual Bronco Giving Day is slated for Wednesday and Thursday, Feb. 26 and 27. This 36-hour event calls on every member of the Bronco community to celebrate their favorite things about Boise State, be they athletics, colleges, programs or scholarships.
