Boise State Men’s Golf to Compete in Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate

WHAT'S NEXT: In the second tournament of the spring season, Boise State men's golf travels to Henderson, Nev., for the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate. Hosted by Arkansas State, the three-day (Feb. 24-26), 54-hole event takes place at Reflection Bay Golf Course (par 72). The Broncos have staggered tee times, with each player teeing off in the 9 a.m. (PT) hour. Live scoring is available on SCOREBOARD and can be accessed HERE.
LAST TIME OUT: Collectively, the Broncos tied for second (845, -19) in the Loyola Intercollegiate (Feb. 16-18; Goodyear, Ariz.) which featured 19 teams. Boise State had two, top 10 finishers, with Cole Rueck placing first (200, -16) and Luke Cushman (209, -7) ending his three rounds tied for eighth.
RUECK OFF TO IMPRESSIVE SPRING START: With a week left in February, Cole Rueck has already recorded first-place finishes in two events. He won the Genesis Collegiate Showcase at Torrey Pines for the second-straight year while also claiming victory at the Loyola Intercollegiate.
THE SQUAD: Head Coach David Trainor has an experienced squad this season with only one true freshman on the roster. His team features defending conference champion Cole Rueck, along with three members of the lineup from last season's conference championships: Luke Cushman, Ryan Meyer and O'Connor.
THE FIELD: Boise State, Arizona State (host), DePaul, Eastern Michigan, George Washington, Long Beach State, Long Island, Louisiana, Missouri-Kansas City, Northern Illinois, Southern Illinois, Stetson, TCU, Texas State and West Virginia.
THE LINEUP (TEE TIMES IN PT): Cole Rueck (9:40 a.m.), Gavyn Knight (9:30 a.m.), Luke Cushman (9:20 a.m.), Reese Knox (9:10 a.m.), Chase Gorder (9 a.m.), Ryan Meyer (individual, 9:50 a.m.).
