Six Broncos Earn All-Mountain West Accolades

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Six Broncos accounted for nine all-conference honors, the Mountain West announced on Thursday.
 
All-MW teams were selected based upon National Qualifying Scores (NQS) before the conference championships.
 
Fifth year Emily Lopez picked up All-MW first team honors on bars and beam, as well as a second team selection vault. Lopez earned NQS of 9.805 on vault, 9.910 on bars and 9.855 on beam. This marks her second-consecutive season earning MW all-conference first team on bars and beam.
 
Senior Alyssa Vulaj collected her first All-MW accolades, earning first team on vault and second team on beam. Vulaj recorded NQS of 9.850 and 9.830 on each event, respectively.
 
Senior Emma Loyim captured her second-straight All-MW first team accolade on floor with a NQS of 9.840.
 
Senior Blake Pascal earned All-MW first team honors on floor, posting a 9.840 NQS. This is her first career all-conference accolade.
 
Freshman Bridget Kemp was named to the All-MW second team on floor with a NQS of 9.820.
 
Freshman Kristina Shchennikova received all-conference second team on bars with a NQS of 9.850.
