BOISE, Idaho – Boise State volleyball released its 2025 Mountain West schedule Monday, featuring nine home matches.

The conference season begins the week of Sept. 23-27, with Boise State opening the league slate on the road for the 11th time during the MW era.

The Blue and Orange are 7-7 in conference openers since joining the Mountain West, 4-6 on the road, and 3-1 at home. Since the 1980 season, Boise State has been on the road more often than not to start conference play by a 32 to 13 margin. During that time span, the Broncos are 30-15 in conference openers, 11-2 at home, and 19-13 on the road.

The 2025 conference schedule remains an 18-match slate, with the Blue and Orange playing eight of the 10 teams twice and the other two once. Utah State and New Mexico are the two teams that the Broncos will face only once during the regular season.

MW action begins Sept. 25 with the Broncos traveling to Air Force, followed by a trip to Nevada for Sept. 27.

Boise State swept a pair of matches versus the Air Force Falcons last fall, leading in the all-time series 21-7. Meanwhile, the Broncos also swept both 2024 encounters against Nevada and hold a 41-30 advantage in the all-time series.

Week two of conference play will have Boise State at home in Bronco Gym, where they will host the Fresno State Bulldogs on Oct. 2, followed by the San Jose State Spartans on Oct. 4.

The Boise State-Fresno State series is tied at 24-24 all-time, which includes a regular-season split in 2024 with the home side winning both. The Broncos lead the all-time series with the Spartans by a tight 24-22 margin; they did not meet in 2024.

The third week of the MW campaign sends the Blue and Orange across the Continental Divide for two contests. The first will have the Broncos at defending MW Champion Colorado State on Oct. 9, followed by a short drive from Fort Collins, Colorado, to Laramie, Wyoming, for an encounter with the Wyoming Cowgirls on Oct. 11.

Boise State trails Colorado State in the all-time series 23-4, but the two split last year with the road team winning each. The Broncos versus Cowgirls series is tight, with Wyoming holding a one-win advantage at 19-18. The two split in 2024, and the home team won on both occasions.

Week four has the Broncos at home, hosting the San Diego State Aztecs on Oct. 16 and the UNLV Rebels on Oct. 18.

The Blue and Orange won a tight five-set match at home in the lone encounter between the Broncos and Aztecs in 2024, tying the all-time series up at 12-12. Boise State leads the UNLV series by five, 17-12, and won the lone meeting in 2024 at Las Vegas.

The week of Oct. 21-23 will mark the season's midway point. Boise State opens the week with its lone match against Utah State, followed by a trip to New Mexico.

Boise State and Utah State met three times in 2024 with the Aggies winning both regular-season matches, while the Broncos beat USU in the opening round of the MW Championship at Las Vegas. The Lobos and Broncos split during the regular season last fall with the home team winning both. Boise State holds a slim 14-13 lead in the all-time series.

The second half of the conference season has Boise State on the road for weeks six and eight. The Broncos will play at UNLV on Oct. 30 and at San Diego State on Nov. 1 for week six. Week eight has the Blue and Orange at San Jose State on Nov. 13 and at Fresno State on Nov. 15.

Boise State will be at home for week seven (Nov. 6-8) and week nine (Nov. 20-22) – the final week of the regular season. Wyoming and Colorado State travel to Boise for week seven, while Nevada and Air Force close out the regular season in Bronco Gym during week nine.

The nonconference schedule will be released later this spring, with tickets going on sale in early summer.
