COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Zdena Safarova earned her fourth Mountain West Player of the Week award following victories in singles and doubles in the regular season finale against Utah State.

Safarova's four MW Player of the Week honors are the most by any player this season, and she is the only one in the conference who has earned the award three or more times.

In No. 1 doubles, Safarova and partner Maya Dutta claimed the first doubles win of the match, defeating Utah State's top pair 6-2.

She continued her dominance into singles, winning on court one 6-1, 6-1 for her 17th win at No. 1 singles and eleventh consecutive victory this spring.

The No. 4 seeded Broncos will begin competition in the quarterfinals of the Credit Union 1 2025 Mountain West Women's Tennis Championship against No. 5 Fresno State. The match is set for Thursday, April 24, at 3 p.m. MT and will be streamed on PlaySight.
