Boise State Announces Foreign Tour to Greece

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State women's basketball will travel to Greece for a foreign tour in early August, head coach Gordy Presnell announced on Thursday.
The Broncos will play two exhibition contests during the weeklong trip, which will take place from August 5-12. The squad will participate in various team-building activities and cultural experiences.Â
"We're really looking forward to taking this program to Greece on a foreign trip," Presnell said. "With several new players it will be a great opportunity for our team to bond and get to know each other ahead of the upcoming season. This is a really unique and exciting opportunity program and we can't wait to get over there."
The trip to Greece will mark the second foreign tour in program history after the Broncos traveled to Hungary prior to the 1996-97 season. This will be the first foreign tour in Presnell's tenure as head coach.

NCAA rules allow teams to take a foreign tour once every four years. Teams participating in a foreign trip are also permitted 10 practice dates in advance of the trip. Boise State is expected to begin practicing in early July.

The Broncos return their four leading scorers - Dani Bayes, Mya Hansen, Natalie Pasco and All-MW forward Tatum Thompson – from a team that finished 18-15 a season ago.
