
Abby Muse Signs With Alba Berlin

BOISE, Idaho — Former Boise State women's basketball player Abby Muse signed a professional contract with Alba Berlin of the Damen Basketball Bundesligen (DBBL), the team announced on Thursday.
"I'm extremely excited and grateful for the opportunity to join the Alba Berlin family," Muse said. "I was drawn by their tradition of excellence, their family culture and the opportunity to live abroad in an amazing city.

"My experience at Boise State helped prepare me, both as a person and an athlete, for this new challenge. I could not be more grateful for the guidance received and lessons learned at this amazing place I've been so lucky to call home for the last five years."

Muse, who is the program's all-time leading rebounder (1,127), scored 1,190 points in her career. She is 1-of-2 Broncos to collect at least 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in her career.

"I'm excited for Abby to continue her athletic career overseas," head coach Gordy Presnell said. "She was a great contributor to our program and I'm excited to see where her career takes her."

In her final campaign with the Broncos, she led the Mountain West in both total blocks (68) and blocks per game (2.1). Last season, Muse averaged 6.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 20.9 minutes of game action.

For her career, Muse appeared in 153 games for Boise State, making 145 career starts. She totaled 7.8 points and 7.4 rebounds per game while shooting 50.3 percent from the field.

The Brentwood, California, native was a two-time Mountain West All-Defensive Team selection (2022-23, '23-24) and was conference's Defensive Player of the Year in her junior season. Additionally, she was named to the conference's All-Freshman Team following her inaugural year at Boise State.

Alba Berlin was founded in 1991, and the team is currently coached by Cristo Cabrera.
