Encouraging Bronco Nation to vote today and every day through August 18

BOISE, Idaho – Boise State's iconic BLUE turf has been nominated by a USA TODAY expert panel for the 2025 10 Best Readers' Choice travel awards in the category of Best Attraction for Sports Fans. The nomination follows back-to-back victories in the same category in 2023 and 2024. The top 10 attractions will be determined by an online vote. Fans are allowed to vote once per day until Monday, August 18 at 10 a.m. (MT).

"The Blue is part of why we are the front porch of Idaho and brings people from all over the world on game day and non-football game days," said Jeramiah Dickey, Boise State Director of Athletics. "Let's show through the power of the BLUE that it is the No. 1 Sports Attraction in the U.S for the third year in a row! Bronco Nation, we need you - go vote!"

The top ten winners, as ranked by USA TODAY 10BEST readers, will be announced on Wednesday, August 27 at noon ET.

In 2024, approximately 18,000 visitors from all 50 U.S. states and 50 countries set aside time to visit the attraction on non-football game days. Tourists and fans can view The BLUE on weekdays by entering the Allen Noble Hall of Fame, the only "public entrance" to view the Boise State football blue turf field. In total, more than 377,000 people visited The BLUE and Albertsons Stadium across Boise State football games, special events and non-game days in 2024-25.

Earlier this summer, the department announced a new partnership with The Blue and Orange Store to make the alumni-owned, Treasure Valley-based Boise State merchandise provider the official source for apparel and merchandise at all Boise State Athletics events. The Blue and Orange Store provides an in-store experience inside the Allen Noble Hall of Fame. The store will be open on weekdays during the same hours as the Hall of Fame.

The BLUE at Albertsons Stadium is one of many attractions that brings sports fans closer to the action as they pay homage to the people, places, and big moments that make sports so compelling. Other nominees are listed below.
